1. Data Collection SoftGlaze is a local-only screen recording tool. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal user data, screen recordings, or browsing history to external servers. All video processing (including MP4 conversion) happens locally within your browser using your computer’s resources.
2. Permissions Usage
- Host Permissions: Used solely to inject the drawing tools onto the web pages you are recording.
- Microphone/Camera: Accessed only when you explicitly enable them for a recording. This data is piped directly into the local video file and is never sent to us.
3. User Files Your recordings and screenshots are saved directly to your computer’s “Downloads” folder. We have no access to these files.
