We want candidates to be proud of their accomplishments! It shows passion, initiative, and motivation. There’s a line that crosses into overconfidence though, a cockiness and superiority that can poison the well of team dynamics. Watch if these candidates go off on longwinded responses that contain little substance. If they truly achieved all they say they did, they should be able to provide thoughtful, detailed explanations of the steps they took to get there.
